Its been a long time since i have posted anything to this website, part of the problem I have discovered is that the way I was trying to write the novel wasn’t working, i needed to change to a more flowing and continuous practice of writing. Last week I started setting deadlines for myself to get 1000 words done in a day, that has seemed to work well, aside for the last two days. So far the word count is around 9,000 words, if all goes well I’m hoping to be finished in about a month, then i can work on editing and then i can get to posting it. So I’m guessing the book is 2 or 3 months away, ill keep you updated.

I hope to keep posting - it wont be the novel till it’s finished - but iv been working on some things so ill start to post them as they become available.

This is what i have learned so far:

How to write a story:

-Determine an object, goal, idea, or point

-Determine all the necessary steps to achieve that ‘goal’

-Write those steps down in a clear, colourful, descriptive and entertaining way.

How to write a novel:

c-Determine an objective or goal.

-Determine all the necessary steps (or stores) to achieve that ‘goal’

-Connect all the short stories into one big story – your novel

Id like to get people more involved, ill create a message board and stuff.
